Guy Bourgeois CEO - President
Guy is the true definition of an entrepreneur. He founded his first business in 1983 selling product to the convenience trade in New Brunswick right out of the back of his truck. In 1985 he moved into the Video Market with the establishment of Midnight Video, owning and building 5 Corporate, 4 Franchise stores and a wholesale distribution. This lead Guy into being the initial Distributor of Nintendo games in the Atlantic Provinces.
Guy entered into the Restaurant arena with the establishment of Subs “R” Us with Guy as Owner. His flair for the entrepreneur continued as he introduced Ice Cream Cakes as part of the Subs “R” Us expanded menu. In 1993 Co-op Atlantic approached Guy to test the cakes in their stores with success resulting in expansion to all 62 stores and Guy establishing the company, Atlantic Cones and Cakes. By 1998 Atlantic Cones & Cakes was supplying all Sobeys, Co-op, Superstores, Save Easy, IGA, Food Master and Foodland in the Atlantic Provinces. Guy found a distributor in Quebec and by 2001 the company was supplying Metro Richelieu, Costco, Super C, Loeb and Provigo.
Guy sold the business in 2002 and established a new business, Professional Sales and Merchandising Ltd. a Food Broker in the Snack & Bakery category.
Guy is bilingual and lives in Dieppe New Brunswick with his fiancé and two children.
R.I.P. Gord McGrail – (Past CEO - President)
Gord is an experienced Sales and Marketing executive, with extensive International experience in managing and nurturing leading Consumer Brands specifically in food, beverage, meat and confectionery categories. Gord has held Leadership and Executive positions with Kraft Foods Ltd, Hershey, Maple Leaf Foods, Molson, Tree of Life and QPro.
Gord holds an honour B.A. in Economics from York University in Toronto.
Gord resides in Mississauga Ontario with his wife of 30 years and his two boys.
